Spring is leaning toward summer here. Warmer days & nights. I trust this finds you well. May God’s delightful grace and peace rest upon you!
Cecil & I are staying active and happy. The Lord continues to bless the works of our hearts and hands. April was a month of learning and some course changing. Last time Iβd told you that I would be opening a Shopify store, but after further counsel I will instead begin to offer my yarn works in my Etsy shop β Objects of Joy Studio I have one scarf listing and would appreciate you taking a look and offering any suggestions for the listing.
Today, I thought Iβd give you a behind-the-scenes look at the making of a knitted Object of Joy. This is the βArise & Shineβ shawl. A shawl like this takes approximately 17 hours of knitting, plus the time at the beginning to ball the yarn and then to tidy the ends once knit. This beauty is knit with American-sourced, hand-dyed, 100% pima cotton yarn. I so love the colorway, and the drape and feel are luxurious!
Hugs & blessings,
Debie π
