Despite all the craziness that occurred in 2020, we still have much to be thankful for – don’t we? I know the Talbots do. We have been blessed with good health and well being overall and God has provided all that we have needed. Continuing to enjoy the cool fall weather here in central North Carolina.
Our most recent adventure was with Florida friends, Tom & Deb, who came to visit for a week in October. We rented a lovely lake house on Badin Lake which was especially PEACEFUL. Had fun showing them some of our favorite places, like Fine Family Farm in Denton, NC, and our Albemarle hangouts ~ Truth & Table and Glory Beans. It was a quick yet refreshing 5-day visit and respite.
What’s new with Objects of Joy? I’ve taken some suggestions from my friend, Deb, and working to add color to my display at The Mercantile. I want to make it a bit more “attractive” so folks will stop and look. On Etsy, folks are looking and a few are buying – yippee! I’m hopeful for folks buying out all the 2021 calendars as well as the other Objects of Joy.
I’m working on an idea to offer personalized, printable bookmarks on Etsy. What do you think these? Maybe offer without the colored background?
